Kendra Jewelries

Customs & Import Information

As a jewelry retailer importing from international suppliers, Kendra Jewelries complies with all Philippine import regulations. This page explains how customs and import processes work for the jewelry you purchase from us.

Who Handles Customs?
All import procedures — including customs declaration, duty payment, and clearance — are handled directly by Kendra Jewelries. You do not need to interact with customs or pay separate import fees when purchasing from us. All applicable duties and taxes are factored into the final confirmed price of your order.

Bureau of Customs (BOC) Compliance
All imported jewelry is declared to the Philippine Bureau of Customs upon entry. We ensure that:
• Each shipment is properly declared with accurate product descriptions and values
• Applicable import duties and taxes are paid in full
• All required import permits and certifications are obtained
• Items comply with Philippine product standards and labeling requirements

Import Duties & Taxes
Jewelry imported into the Philippines may be subject to:
• Customs duties based on the Harmonized System (HS) code classification
• Value-Added Tax (VAT) of 12% on imported goods
• Excise taxes on certain precious metal items, where applicable

These costs are included in the pricing of our pieces. The reference prices shown on our website already account for import-related expenses, so there are no surprise charges at checkout or delivery.

Restricted & Prohibited Items
Certain items may be restricted or require special permits under Philippine law. We do not import or sell items that are prohibited by the Bureau of Customs or the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). If a piece is unavailable due to import restrictions, our team will inform you during the inquiry process.

Product Labeling & Hallmarking
Imported precious metal items carry hallmarking or purity stamps from the country of origin, in accordance with international standards. Gemstone certificates, where applicable, are provided with the item and include details such as carat weight, cut, clarity, and color grading.
